"Our stay at La Maison Ottomane was outstanding! Alex and Andreas showed my fiancée and I an exceptional level of hospitality and kindness. We had an early ferry and Alex prepared a fresh breakfast for us, plus sent us off with pancakes for the road! Also, she provided us with a selection of wines to celebrate our engagement. The location is just a short walk away from the Old Port which was perfect. If you can book this unique place, you won’t forget it. "

"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"Lovely hotel, clean, friendly staff, just outside is the bus 21 station that goes to Chania town centre bus station- from which you could take different buses to Botanical Garden, south villages, different towns. The beach is less than 10 min walk down the street; is nice and not too crowded, where I went twice in my 8 night stay as in the rest I went in excursions. "Lovely helpful staff, beautifully laid out rooms with excellent facilities. Housekeeping was perfect. Fantastic pools, perfect for families. There was a lovely mix of nationalities staying at the hotel, perfect for families or couples. 15 mins or for a coastal walk into Chania - a vibrant city with a stunning old town and Venetian harbour. Recommend a day trip to the Samaria gorge if you’re active. "
