"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Close to the creeper trail! Perfect getaway.

I highly recommend Blue Blaze bike rental and shuttle if you are going to visit the creeper trail. The Damascus diner is very good and you have to stop by Little Bits Baking for a cinnamon roll.
