Perfect home base for hiking
The house was clean and exactly as described on the listing. It’s in a perfect location, right across the street from the trail and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. The house is in a very convenient location. Be sure to eat your meals at Damascus diner. The fenced in back yard was perfect.

This is our second stay at this cozy dog friendly home. We enjoyed biking and hiking the creeper trail from just a short walk out the door. Conveniently located near delicious Wicked Chicken and short walk to Damascus diner. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy time with family, friend and pets. We had a great time together!

Walk out the front door for the Virginia Creeper Trail and the Appalachian Trail... Amazing! Damascus is a nice little town. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place to stay for the VA Creeper.
Property was very clean and well stocked with towels, papertowels, soap, etc. Beds are comfy and the a/c works very well. Very conveniently located near several bike rental/shuttle companies. Recent remodel so everything works well and looks good.

Great home in a great location. Everything is in walking distance and if you love people watching you have the perfect view to do so from the cozy front porch. The fenced in backyard was great for my senior dog. The Wicked Chicken is right next door and the food and service was a 5 star experience. The Appalachian Distillery was a few easy blocks to walk. So much to do…. And do not forget the Creeper Trail is a step or two away.

Home has every imaginable thing you could use. Owners have a beautiful spot there. Plus it is next door to Wicked Chicken and ice cream place. Damascus is a lovely spot in the middle of Creeper trail. Well done by this owner!

Perfect Getaway
We absolutely loved Damascus and this home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more! After a day of hiking and riding we enjoyed being home relaxing on the couch watching TV. Here for the bikes!
Great property. Everything we needed was available. Couldn’t ask for a better location if you are there to explore the Virginia Creeper Trail. Having The Bicycle Junction Across the street and The Wicked Chicken next door is a bonus! Also:The mattresses/ pillows were very comfortable. Perfect after a day of riding. I say this because it’s the one thing most properties can do better!

Updated home VERY close to the Creeper Trail. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Very convenient to bike rentals, food, shopping... within walking distance to downtown Damascus and trail. Some traffic noise due to location of home, but we would stay here again.
