"Great location set within the boulders. The rooms were set in blocks of 6 - we had a mountainside view which felt a bit oppressive as the only view was of the close mountain rock - in retrospect would have preferred the view across the open landscape. Staff were friendly and food was good. "

We went on the rhino tracking activity and it was incredible: we saw a rhino mom and her baby, and we actually followed them on foot for a little while. "We had a lovely time at Hobatere, the staff were outstanding, especially Nicco. The room was very clean, and eco friendly and the food was delicious. The only weak spot was the guiding - we went for a game drive and the guide was not knowledgeable and not interested in hearing what the guests wanted to see."

"Stunning lodge a little off the beaten track but so worth the effort! The location by the watering hole with the resident rhino and regular animals is amazing. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. The rooms are total luxury and feel so relaxing to sit and watch the weather and environment. They give you an extra key for the air conditioning as the tent gets hot. Food was very good and plentiful. We loved it - the safari drive was amazing and we saw so many animals- just a sore bottom after 7...

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "
