"This is a beautiful lodge located about 17 km from the Anderson Gate of Etosha National Park. The chalets are clean and cozy and the beds are quite comfortable. The walk-in showers and water pressure are excellent. The meals served in the lodge restaurant are buffet-style, with many selections. "We stayed after two days in Etosha park, looking for somewhere close to the exit. The location is excellent, just a few km from the gate. Our room was large, with a massive bathroom, and was very clean and functional. It had a small patio, which was nice to have an outdoor area, although not much to look at from there except trees. "If you're looking for the African experience, this is it! From game drives during the day to a local band in the evening, we really felt the Namibian vibe. Note that this is not a 5 star, westernized resort. This is dining under the stars. No WiFi or TV in the room so you can unplug or go to the reception area for urgent messages. "

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "

"The staff were all incredible, from front desk to dinner, all amazing. Loved this little retreat in the country, you can watch animals at the water hole from the private terrace off your room. Lovely pool area to relax in and they have a campfire in the evening with a view of the water hole. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was on the pricier side for a lodge at N$400 pp but the quality was outstanding so I was ok with it. "

"Die beste Unterkunft unseres Namibiaurlaubs. Marianna und Piet waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die alles für das Wohlergehen meiner Freundin und mir gegeben haben. Das inkludierte Frühstück und Abendessen fiel sehr reichhaltig aus und war absolut lecker (ihr solltet nach dem Kürbis in Zucker fragen!!!). Das Gasthaus ist eine Oase in der zur Zeit sehr trockenen Gegend, die voller Charme und Erinnerungen steckt. Für Exkursionen jeglicher Art kann ebenfalls gesorgt werden."

"Stunning lodge a little off the beaten track but so worth the effort! The location by the watering hole with the resident rhino and regular animals is amazing. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. The rooms are total luxury and feel so relaxing to sit and watch the weather and environment. They give you an extra key for the air conditioning as the tent gets hot. Food was very good and plentiful. We loved it - the safari drive was amazing and we saw so many animals- just a sore bottom after 7...

"The room at luxury 5 was big and comfortable, it included the basic amenities plus has a great view of the game camp in which we saw Nyala, giraffe and Springbok. Overall quiet and relaxing, staff helpful and accomodating. The lodge is currently under maintenance. Overall a good lodge to be at."

"Meteorite Rest Camp is on a commercial farm which makes it totally different from other places we stayed at. We met the friendly owner Madelein and her husband, and heard a bit about life there. In the evening 1000s of red-billed quelia birds roost just the campsite, amazing to see. At night it's total silence with a clear sky for the stars. The chalet was a good size and comfy with a kitchenette. The pool was great to cool down in the afternoon. "
