"I picked this place due to it being a good distance from all the places I aimed to visit. Just over an hour to Skye, Mallaig etc and less to Fort William and Glencoe. I was aware that there's not many shops nearby but I was well prepared. The place is spacious for a 1 or 2 person stay but possibly a bit tight for 4. Great parking close to accommodation. There were a few faults that shouldn't take long to fix. Catching front door. Internal doors that don't all stay shut, kitchen cupboard...

"The property was comfortable and clean. It suited our needs, as we were out most of the day. If I have one complaint it would be that in my opinion the shower head and connecting hose needs to be replaced as they were quite grubby and didn’t fit in with the cleanliness of the rest of the property. But overall it was a pleasant stay. "

"Pretty detatched cottage with all the comforts of home. Jeannete's fresh farm eggs on the table for us on our arrival. The cottage is set in quiet countryside, yet convenient for exploring the area. A week wasn't really long enough to do everything we wanted! Nice outdoor eating area in our secluded garden. Great for those sunny days when we were able to eat outdoors. Comfortable beds, good shower, nice kitchen and comfy lounge. Altogether, everything we needed for a lovely week. Would love to...

"All facilities were available for our needs. unfortunately the springs in the mattress were broken and there were several lumps which we were laying on which resulted in myself getting a sore back. The sofa bed needed cleaning as was very stained. On entering the apartment the floor was very uneven whilst walking on it because the whole apartment seemed as it was subsiding."

"The owners did as much as possible to ensure safety in the current circumstances. The cottage is perfect and is ideally situated to explore the delights of the Highlands. We fully intend and have no hesitation in saying we shall return to Wee Ben. "

"Absolutely breathtaking location and scenery! The cottage is comfortable and extremely clean. All appliances worked with no problems. The few times we communicated with Catherine, at the beginning of the stay, were answered immediately and always friendly and a pleasure. A great location for exploring Loch Ness and Inverness. I LOVED IT! "

Guests should be aware that the cottage is located adjacent to the Estate's hunting centre, with stags shot in the day brought back to the area around the property. Bear this in mind if it could be an issue. It also has possibly the smallest TV in existence – not great while there was a rugby world cup on!"

"We came to visit friends in Alberfeldy, this was the perfect place for us and our two kids. They thought of everything you might need on your stay. "Property itself was clean and well equipped. Beds were not king size and the pull out bed in the third room was a camp bed so you could not move in the room at all - very disappointing . The brochure states parking for two cars with additional on road . There is only one allocated parking spot and the two free spaces are on a first come basis. I know it was in a cul de sac but it was still on the road ."
