"This apartment was a really great home base for us while we explored edinburgh area. The distance from town created a nice bubble of peace for us than if we had stayed in downtown. The distance from town also provided us considerable cost savings. The apartment and hosts were great. Having a private parking lot was really appreciated, and there is a bakery right next door. We ran out of the toilet paper provided, and there is a funky smell in the stairwell, other than that it was a very pleasant...

"We didn’t stay , we arrived saw the property, with smashed glass , property smelling strongly of weed etc and felt too unsafe to stay , we checked into a hotel for the 2 nights. I did email 3 times but had no response"

"Pros: Relaxing in the hot tub watching the stars and the Northern lights. Cosy log burner. Comfy beds. Listening to the rain on the roof. Friendly hosts, Gray comes down to clean the hot tub each day and checks you have everything you need. Cons: Farmhouse on one side and cottage on the other means no privacy. You will definitely hear and see the other guests"

"Didn't get to stay at the apartment because of storm Babet. Travel was cancelled so we didnt make it. We asked for a possible refund and hotels tried to help but the owners dud not respond. We booked for two nights "

"This was the perfect location for us to explore Edinburgh, the Tattoo, the Kelpies and more. It is just minutes from the train station with many small shops and take away locations. The apartment is on the main street in Falkirk and there can be traffic noise, but this did not bother us. "

"We loved Linlithgow and location of the flat. Finding the flat however, required running around that entire apartment complex area looking for the unit number. Parking was available luckily. The flat itself was comfortable to sleep. Bedrooms were nicely decorated. Kitchen amenities were adequate but I would encourage adding paper towelS Or adding more dish towels. At some point in the near future I would suggest replacing stair and hallway carpeting. It is beyond well used. Just a suggestion...

"The flat is ok-ish, clean enough I would say but definitely not a luxury apartment. It has a couple of cool things like the bathroom mirror, a couple of lights and some black furniture but that's about all the luxuries. How luxurious is it when you have to hand wash the dishes and why would you host up to 8 guests but only provide towels for a max of 4!?! On the host's defence this was mentioned in the house rules but still... The gym is actually a stationary bike in the living room, some...

As we drove into this lovely little town of Culross, we were instantly enamored with the quaint, old world charm and beauty!
