"I spent a restful night at this nicely appointed hotel near the airport. My quiet room overlooked the lake and I enjoyed watching planes land at regular intervals just outside my window. (Yes, it was quiet even with this!) The hotel provides shuttle service from Terminal 3, so I took an airport bus from Terminal 2 to 3 in order to use this convenient service. I also enjoyed the hotel’s breakfast buffet which offers a nice assortment of options. "

"My son and I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. It is a beautiful property in a pleasant location. The staff were extremely competent and the service was flawless. The highlight for us was the breakfast buffet with so many options of local food. We also had some amazing meals at the Chinese restaurant in the evening. We loved the pool and the hot tub too. The hotel is also close to a river with some lovely pedestrian walkways. I would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return one day!"

The Sandalwood, Beijing - Marriott Executive Apartments

"The Beijing Sandalwood Marriott Executive Apartments is the best hotel to stay whether you are a tourist or here on businesses. The staff (especially all personnel at the front desk) are professional, very nice, and knowledgeable. The location is convenient being literally 10 minutes from the CBD, but quiet enough for a safe stroll around the neighborhoods without the need to watch out for ongoing traffic. All major shopping malls are within a few-minute drive. After trying out hotels throughout Beijing, this Marriott is definitely the best choice any visitor should try. "

"Great hotel with lovely staff. Good breakfast with mix of Chinese and ‘western’ options. Pool is small but adequate. Gym facilities are good. There’s a Tube station about 10 mins walk from the hotel (near the Weston). But we just caught a cab via the DiDi App to all the sites. Way more comfortable. Concierge organised a Day return taxi to Badaling Great Wall for the 4 of us which worked out way cheaper than any of the ‘tours’ online. Word of advice is to plan your trips around the rush hour traffic in Beijing. There’s a small shopping mall about a 10 mins walk away. Has a variety of food stalls and a McDs. Overall, would very likely stay here again. "
