"We were visiting my daughter in Freuchie and stayed in this hotel. It is a charming hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me including organising a taxi. The restaurant is not up and running yet but you can get a lovely continental breakfast and tea/coffee and lovely fresh cakes, We will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we visit Greuchie. "

"The drive up to the hotel is beautiful with a grand entrance. Check in was perfect. The main dining and lounge areas are very relaxing and welcoming with helpful staff. The rooms are a little tired and extremely warm which made it a little uncomfortable but didnt ruin the trip. Breakfast was really good with a great selection. We also dined in the lounge and, whilst not a great selection, what we had was delicious. Overall, it was a great two night stay and great value too."

"On arrival greeted well and check in seamless. Lift to room was in need of some tlc. The room was initially ok without doing a four in a bed style check. On returning in the evening when i went for s shower the complementary body wash had been topped up with water not what you'd expect at all. "We had a very relaxing few days here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the check in process was completed quickly. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage, the accommodation was very spacious but still had a nice cozy feel to it. The on site restaurant served excellent food with a lovely atmosphere, just remember to book early as it was fully booked each night we were there. We will definitely be back."

"This is our second visit and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural location. Perfect for outdoor loving families. The surroundings are stunning. We watched deer climbing the fellside each morning and horses in the field below. There views in all directions are spectacular. There is plenty of walking from the doorstep which is great for children and dogs. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners who were nearby if needed."
