"There for a romantic stay and the hotel was beautiful, especially with all their stunning Christmas decorations. Service was absolutely first class: friendly, helpful, warm, welcoming and just made us feel special and pampered. Yes it’s a hotel of the highest standards but you don’t feel in any way uncomfortable - just like a beautiful big house with lots of people looking after you for two days. Huge credit to management and more importantly the staff. "

"A warm welcome from the check in staff and then to find my room had a lovely view out over the golf course. The room was a junior suite. An exceptionally comfy bed, a large rain shower, a huge sofa, and a Nespresso machine were among the facilities on offer. Breakfast was served in Calder’s bistro. I got a lovely table by the window and my order was taken quickly and arrived equally quickly. Fantastic pancake stack with blueberries and maple syrup.
