"Nice stay and would go back. Clean, simple room with comfy beds. Warm enough with a big radiator. Good hot shower. Seems enough parking for a car per room. Breakfast was great, with good coffee and attentive staff. 20 minute flat walk into keswick if needed. Be warned, the walls in the rooms are paper thin, to the extent of hearing neighbouring rooms talking, flushing toilets etc. Thanfully for our stay the hotel was "settled" by just after 9 and it was ok. I'd recommend taking earplugs incase...

"The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Windermere. The pool was a short drive away, and as we were there for only a couple of nights we didn't get to use it. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit to Windermere. "

"This was a slightly more expensive guesthouse than we normally book which is definitely reflected in the room, which was beautiful. Cleanliness was top notch, noted especially by how fresh it smelled which was lovely. The bed was comfortable but I must say the pillows were too hard for us.
