"Where to start with this "hotel" the staff were pleasant enough. The pool is just a accident waiting to happen. Apart from wing nuts screwed into the side of the pool and a light hanging out of it's fitting there was the water pump that sucked my hand into it,as the cover was missing. I will be putting in a complaint with Expedia over this,Not a great experience overall. The room was nice just a little worn. I did get a good night's sleep though as the bed was big and cosy. "

"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"What a lovely place - my Frensh is rusty [optimistically] but the lovely landlady speaks like her husband very good English. As there is no dinner service in the hotel they advised us [even on a monday - not many place serve food] to a nearby [7km] restaurant, where we had a fine meal after a long journey"

"We arrived on our motorcycle. The hosts were very friendly. Our French, that wasn’t a problem as they were able still to help in every way. It’s a beautifully decorated old building set in a quiet rural place"

"Firstly this b&b is most certainly NOT in a rural location as described by Expedia and is definitely NOT multilingual. Just the one member of ‘staff’. The b&b is in the city centre and surrounded by buildings. The only parking is on street - if your lucky. The place does not have its own ‘free parking’ at all. We arrived at b&b at 20.00 after booking our room at 13.30 on the same day to find no one there. Proprietor eventually appeared from property next door as we phoned him and he had no idea...

"J'ai apprécié l'accueil et le service, les petites déjeuner avec tout ce dont on a besoin pour bien commencer la journée. La chambre est grande avec une belle salle de bain, juste les WC sont en extérieur de la chambre en face. Le lit est super confortable et l'environnement verdoyant dans quartier résidentiel. "It is a lovely studio apartment, very homely and comfortable and is nicely furnished with good hearing. I only stayed one night, would be nice to stay longer. It is in a quiet area but easy to get to nearby villages and towns (Herseaux, Leers, Roubaix). There are supermarkets nearby such as Lidl and Aldi, and the apartment has everything for cooking.
