"I’m glad I stayed here. It’s not that far from centro. The only thing is bed just a bit too stiff for me and linens are kind of thin. However the air condition is top notch! The staff are pleasant, as well. I would stay here again. "

"This hotel was very nice, the staff was always helpful and courteous. It is a beautiful historic building which they have preserved its uniqueness and beauty, but it doesn't have any of the modern amenities. If you are on the second floor, be ready to do some good exercise by climbing the steps several times a day as you need it. The main building doesn't have central A/C, and it stays for the most part cool, but Merida is extremely hot. The rooms have an AC unit, but our room's a/c didn't work...

"Hameki is a hidden treasure, with the most gracious hostess/owner, accomodating staff and glamping experience! Our tent was extremely romantic, outdoor fire, drinks served poolside with bats swooping down to drink, all while nestled in the heart of the Yucatan jungle. Plan on staying here and visiting the nearby cenotes when you visit the area. Highly recommend!"
