"very retty. front desk had checked me into a room, which was NOT what I resered. then rechecked me into another room. I was unclear the entire stay of where dining benefits could be used. They could get more help n these areas. Although friendly and could speak english well, they were clueless as to meeting reservations as not enough information for them apparently"

"Incredible, peaceful, and beautiful place. A great mix of jungle, hacienda ruins, posh facilities, and a healing, new age vibe. Quite remote, but that is part of the intrigue. The food is also incredible (even my husband, who is a dedicated carnivore, was floored by it. All the staff was fantastic and very thoughtful about the experience they wanted to create. Wish we stayed longer to get to relax and unwind in such a special spot. "

"Beautiful hotel that is conveniently located. Multiple food option in the hotel and they have a lobby bar. Staff were excellent. Our mini fridge wasn’t working and they had it swapped out in 10 minutes. Definitely touristy but definitely worth the stay!"

"The hotel is in Barrio de Santiago, a quiet, gentrifying area just west of the Centro. I liked the staff very much - they were super helpful and super nice and patient with my rusty Spanish. The plunge pool was very welcoming and clean, great to cool off after a hot day walking around. Walking to the room was quite tricky. Not great for unsteady walkers. The coffee at breakfast was limited to 1 cup and really, it was awful. There was a coffee maker in the room which was also limited to 1 cup...

"Hameki is a hidden treasure, with the most gracious hostess/owner, accomodating staff and glamping experience! Our tent was extremely romantic, outdoor fire, drinks served poolside with bats swooping down to drink, all while nestled in the heart of the Yucatan jungle. Plan on staying here and visiting the nearby cenotes when you visit the area. Highly recommend!"
