"Incredibly happy we chose this place. We had the Rosewood room with the fireplace and it was so beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back. "

"It was neither quiet nor clean. The shower was filthy—mud ran on the floor when we turned on the water. Floor and air conditioners had not been clean so it was dusty. And it would helpful if some of the basic amenities were present like a hairdryer and a coffee pot. "

"Booked and paid through the app. When we arrived, they didn’t have our reservation even after I gave them my reservation information. We ended having to go elsewhere. I attempted to call the owner but no answer or no message returned."

"Room is a step above most non-chain motel rooms with very sparse amenities, limited parking, ok bedding, and small towels. We only used it for sleeping as we spent more time at our families house. For the price compared to others in the area it was very economical and fit what my Son and I needed."

"Most importantly, just a stunning view day and night across the hills. It feels incredibly peaceful here. The flexible check-in and check-out hours are a game changer. The house is spacious, can sleep many, and owners are very communicative. The only downside is that the property has some components that are prime for upgrades, but it's reflected in the pricing. "

Rocking and Rolling at Riviera Oaks (Julian Quake)

"Nice fast, easy check in and out. Friendly staff greeted me and explained the resort area and answered my questions. Nice quiet room with all amenities for a great stay. They also have additional items available for use. The bed was very comfortable and bedroom had plenty of storage space. The furniture looks a little dated but still very nice. Two Sliding glass doors to let in fresh air and light. "
