"We booked two rooms at the Casa Griunit only to find that the description on the hotels.com Website had been misleading. The Casa Griunit doesn’t offer rooms, each unit is actually an apartment. The apartment would have had sleeping space for four people with a bedroom and a sofabed downstairs, but we wanted two separate rooms for our 5-day stay. Luckily, this was resolved to our complete satisfaction by the owner and hotels.com staff. The apartments each had a lovely, spacious bedroom upstairs...

"If you want that old feel farm house feel this is the place to go. Bernardo, the host, is very accommodating. We had 10 nights there and would return for another holiday. Lovely grounds and a pool for hot weather. Parking is within the courtyard. "

"This is a beautiful hotel/farm just outside of the cute little village of San Danielle. The views of the countryside, the towns and the mountains is inspiring. The room was ultra comfortable and well-equipped. Our host Rosa made us feel very welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was great (local products); too bad we missed the restaurant!! "At first, it was strange that I was informed that my reservation was canceled, and that the room was different from the room described at the time of reservation. The owner only spoke Italian. However, when I arrived at the room, it was surprisingly comfortable with all the facilities. It was smaller than expected, and we had to use a double bed for 3 people, but overall we were satisfied. The wine they make is very good and worth the trip just for that alone."
