"Room above a pub that was cosy and well appointed. Breakfast served in the pub was satisfying and served with a smile. Standard pub chain food in the evening was ok but won’t delight any gastro hunters. Lifeboat Inn is on the quay and behind it is the main shopping street with lots of restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes walk."

"The hotel was easy to find, in a quiet location, and of excellent quality in every way. The room was comfortable and warm, the food at dinner was absolutely delicious, as was the wine. There was a separate quiet room to relax in afterwards complete with fire ! Breakfast was equally as good and the whole experience was a delight. I'm so glad I chose that hotel."

"Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! "
