"The view was gorgeous. Not much in the vicinity as far as restaurants and things to do. It takes like 25 minutes to get to a major road. Dinner was okay, the limited menu did not change in 3 nights. Surprisingly moderately priced given not much alternative and the high level of service."

"We had a fabulous stay! The room was stylish and comfortable, spotlessly clean with a romantic view overlooking the river. We ate both nights at the restaurant and the food and wine were both terrific. The included breakfast was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!"

"AWESOME!!! Simply could not have been better. Clean, quiet, family-owned, felt like home. Daily breakfast was just right and sitting on the front porch or by the pool was glorious. Cobblestone path to town is adjacent to the property-- a bit steep but doable. Manuel Jr provided us with dining options and Manuel Sr recommended a winery that was excellent (Quinta do Vallado). We hope to go back!"
