"A perfect spot for a base to explore Denman, put your kayaks in the water and visit friends in Courtenay, all of which we did. This quirky cottage has a gorgeous view, with great spots for morning coffee and walks on the beach. Inside you have all the amenities you need, from blankets to games to a decent kitchen - only caution is that if you're a cook, best not to plan for an elaborate meal as counter space is minimal. This spot gave us just the weekend we were looking for!"

"The carriage home was the perfect size for two people. Tara was fantastic The fill kitchen ( with everything you could need) we great and there was tons of fresh Linens. The only down side was you had to walk through the back yard and that set off the dogs in the house every time. But the area was beautiful and it worked for our needs "

"We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. Wildlife awaits each time you look out towards the wetlands, with a variety of birds as well as an orchestra of frogs come dusk. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by...
