"Pictures do not do this stay justice. This is a converted farmhouse so the stay itself is a no frills type of place. If you are looking for 5 star hotel quality amenities this isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a wonderful Scottish experience that includes a drive through quaint villages, beautiful farmland, amazing cliffside views, and friendly hospitality then this place certainly will not disappoint. "Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. "The property was spacious and clean and had a wonderful view of the river. It made us consider buying an apartment there honestly. There was a miscommunication at the beginning with the code to get our key because the automated message didn't have all of the details, but thank goodness it was during business hours so somebody came down and helped us.
