"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

Fontaine-fables-themed accommodations are conveniently located in walking distance of the historic pedestrian area and amenities like a market, pharmacy, and restaurants. Several flights of stairs to the top rooms could be a challenge for some, especially with heavy bags. "
