"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

"Marie is extremely gracious and welcoming. The breakfasts were ample and delicious. Fontaine-fables-themed accommodations are conveniently located in walking distance of the historic pedestrian area and amenities like a market, pharmacy, and restaurants. Several flights of stairs to the top rooms could be a challenge for some, especially with heavy bags. "

"This property and its owner could not be faulted! Welcome and service were exemplary, the dinner by a nice fire was delicious, the room was large and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and also delicious and the price more than competitive. Ten and a half out of ten."

"We did not receive the room we booked as the place was full, I booked a large double with beautiful bath sadly only received a standard double with shower which was a pity "

"It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...
