"Wonderful retreat just minutes from city center. I selected this property because of the amenities. The private patio was an extension of the living space. Our 4 year old grandson could come and go with freedom. The gated community removed us from the street noise but was still easy to get to buses and taxis. "The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. "The property was clean and well spaced out. The location was not too far out from the city center. The host is not the best at communicating. I had to reach out to him for the check in instructions 2 hours before check in because he didn’t send me anything. He would also take a while to get back to me when I would ask him questions related to the property. "

"I stayed in the suite with a kitchen and I have to say I’m glad I did. With Oaxaca being a place know for good eats, at times there’s leftovers and with the microwave there it was perfect to reheat some food. Half a block away there’s a restaurant Jardon which was delicious, plus a small store to stock up the fridge.
