"A very well maintained property with great views, hot tub and pool. We were unaware of the 4 minute drive up to the villa up steep and bendy roads ( learnt it well). The cloud base was low on quite a few days but when it cleared had a fantastic view of stars and galaxies. The offshore cloud bank impacted the sunsets. Saying that 2 weeks of total rest and relaxation."

"I stayed here with close friends for my stag. The Villa is exactly as described, use of the Hot Tub and Swimming Pool really did make coming back after exhausting excursions far easier. We ised the Barbecue whilst there, too. A greay way to spend the warm evening; chillinf with friends next to the smokey scent of meat on the BBQ. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We all have stressful jobs, and finding somewhere so idyllic to let our hair down was something we all needed. Huge...

"Vacances en famille pour retrouver notre fille en stage a côté de Puerto, très belle région, il faut avoir de bonnes jambes car tout est en pentes, mais il y a des bus.... Mer très agréable et maison tres calme au milieu des bananerais , magnifique.. Très bon séjour"

"We were happy to explore more rural part of the island. Property is well kept with mature garden and all appliances at hand. I personally would advise owner to change pillows as the present ones in state of decay otherwise all good."

"The Villa Iris is very nice inside, having two good sized bedrooms and one small bedroom, with plenty of wardrobe space. There is air conditioning in the en-suite (which was really needed due to the extreme heat we encountered during our stay in June/July). The kitchen is well equipped with all the essential items you would need. The outside is spacious with a shaded eating area and relaxing drinks area (nicely lit up at night). "Das Haus in Santa Ursula war insgesamt ein schönes Haus. Leider waren wir von der Umgebung sehr enttäuscht, das Haus ist sehr abgelegen und drum herum sind halbfertige Häuser und ein großer Schlammiger Platz gewesen. Es war leider sehr kalt als wir dort waren und außer zwei Heizlüftern hatten wir nicht viel Möglichkeiten um uns Warm zu halten. Eine Klimaanlage oder Heizung gibt es nicht. Zudem konnte man wenn man die Heizlüfter benutzen wollte, nicht mehr Kochen oder Wäsche waschen, da ständig...

"Firstly it’s a long way from anywhere. Secondly you need to be pretty fit to access the property. Thirdly there are no shops or restaurants in Carrizales and it’s a drive on very winding to get anywhere. That said the property itself is excellent as is the property manager"

"Wir, meine Tochter und ich, hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, den wir sogar spontan verlängert haben. Die Villa war super und noch besser, fast unschlagbar, der Außenbereich so nah am Meer. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur ausgezeichnet."

"Ich gehe zu erst auf die negativen Punkte ein, da diese hier leider überwiegen. - Das Objekt ist nicht modernisiert und es fehlten sehr viele Sachen wie z. B. Gläser, Bretter und generelle Dinge zum Kochen. Die Pfannen waren schon alle sehr abgenutzt. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass dort lediglich alte Sachen verstaut worden sind. Wir mussten Sachen wie Bretter oder Pfannen anfordern. Außerdem fehlten Steckdosen am Bett. Jeder Mensch hat heut zu Tage ein Handy! - Der Kühlschrank ist kaputt...

"Really nice place to stay in a great location. The apartments are lovely but you can tell room by room which ones have been modernised. Everything was lovely except the bathroom, really old and the showers were awful. Zero pressure and no hot water. Bath takes at least 30 minutes to fill up aswell. Television is absolutely pointless has 2 channels with weak signal and is about 20 years old. Aside this the whole apartment was absolutely lovely and a fantatsic size."

"The apartment was very well equipped. There was only 1 air con unit in the apartment which was in the bedroom-that was the only down side I can think of. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was huge. The area was very quiet at night. We always got a good spot by the pool late morning/early afternoon. The staff were all great and very helpful. Pool was a good temperature and inflatables were allowed at certain times. I would stay here again. "

"Upon arrival we were quite concerned about the outside roadworks however our concerns were unfounded due to the welcome we received by the Reception Team and the beautiful apartment that greeted us. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds and with a most amazing balcony and views. I’m sure next time we visit, the outside updating of roadworks will be complete and it will be better still. Great holiday and great value and great apartments/views. "

"amazing value for money. I couldn't recommend it more. it's an architectural marvel which perfectly blends into the surrounding. It's nearby one of the best beaches ok the island. It also offers amazing sunsets and stunning ocean views with nearby island gomera in the background. The quality of service is outstanding. we always felt wholeheartedly welcome and all staff was attentive to our needs. it exceeded all my expectations and I'm surely coming again hopefully soon 👌"

Wonderful stay at the Meliá

"It is a lovely hotel with great facilities for adults. The check-in was very good and lovely helpful staff. Our junior suite was a great size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were staying half board and the food especially at breakfast was excellent. There was the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace which was very nice indeed as the views were amazing. The pool area was lovely and we managed to get sun loungers each morning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return or visit another Meliá hotel. "
