"entertainment all the time - live music or DJ 7 days a week. The upper restaurant was the perfect place for Sunday Brunch with great food and drink choices. The bartender/server was great for brunch. Easy walk to and from our event we went to and parking underneath. The only bad thing was it was a very warm room and we could not get it to cool down."

"This is an old motel, and I'm pleased that it retains that vibe. Its well maintained and clean, but not "overly rennovated" to the point that you cant see the original hotel. Personally, I like that. It also means that its dated and sometimes shows its age in unappealing ways - like grout in the bathroom that could be replaced. "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Verdant. The hotel is an old department store that has been tastefully and beautifully restored. The rooms were small but very well designed and had everything you'd need for an enjoyable stay. Be sure to check out the roof top deck-the views are amazing, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. we tried The Maple Table next door for breakfast which was delicious. Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly, and helpful. What a great place to stay...
