"I travelled from Newcastle and stayed here for my birthday - we had only heard of the hotel on the YWP website when booking an experience. The hotel was really nice, really clean and the layout was really nice (like little pods before entering the hotel with little shops, bistros, restaurants etc made it feel like a holiday resort.) The reception was another pod, the staff were really lovely and they had a little essentials shop too which was a really nice touch for toothbrushes and other things you may have forgotten. The floor our room was on also had an ice dispensing room, where there was also a vending machine for snacks. Our room was simple but really nice, and at a good price. The only thing was the safe didn’t work, they said they couldn’t fix it within the day but did still offer to lock our belongings in their safe behind reception. We had tea in the bistro the food was really nice, breakfast was in the same place and again, it was really nice and worth the money. I will definitely visit here again and can’t recommend enough. "

"My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Hotel in Nottingham City Centre. We booked with Hotels.com and used our Tesco Clubcard points/vouchers to pay for the room. We booked a standard double room and when we arrived at the hotel the Front Desk staff had upgraded us to a Premium King room for free. This included mini-fridge with complementary soft drinks, king bed and slippers and bathrobes. The room was tastefully decorated and had great facilities. The water pressure was strong and the only downside was that the mattress was slightly too firm for my taste. We had the buffet breakfast included and the selection was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next trip."

"This is a really comfortable hotel with great facilities at a great value price that includes a delicious breakfast. Staff are all friendly, helpful and efficient. They are happy to store luggage for you when you check out. Breakfast service is extremely good with everything kept stocked up and tables cleared and cleaned instantly. Provided toiletries are comprehensive and of a very good standard. Pillows are lovely and fluffy. Would definitely return here again."
