"We spent four nights at this property in late September - early October 2022. We drove from Lyon via Villefranche and Beaujeu, and arrived at the anticipated time. The directions provided by the owner were clear and precise, and we had no difficulty in finding the farmhouse. It is located in a small hamlet called Les Jacquets in Haut-Beaujolais, a few kilometres north-west of the village of Monsols in the Deux-Grosnes commune. "Nous sommes restés une semaine dans ce gîte plein de charme. Très bien équipé et fonctionnel, notamment en matériel de puériculture, ce qui a été très pratique avec nos trois filles de moins de 4 ans. "Our host was very helpful even making last-minute reservations at a 5 Star restaurant. This is a country home with all the charm. We had all the basic needs and it is a short drive to stores and restaurants. There are some steps to get to the bedrooms. Soap and Shampoo are bring your own. All linens and towels were provided as was a fully functioning Kitchen. If you need ice for cocktails buy it before you check in. Highly recommend if touring in this Wine region."

Piscine intérieure chauffée mais pas assez pour en profiter pleinement (25-27 degres) . La piscine dégage de l’humidité ambiante. Parkings extérieurs limités à 4 voitures au maximum en serrant bien . "We arrived at 16:15 after a 7 hour journey to find the entrance door locked and no lights seen inside and no sign of anyone about. We waited about 15 minutes then decided we needed to go elsewhere to stay and rest. The hotel sent me a text message in the evening asking me to contact them for information on Registration !!!! A notice on the door said that the hotel restaurant was closed for a period that included our night stop. It would have been nice to have known this at the time of booking as it would have affected our choice of venue."

Wonderful

"I had never stayed in an Ibis before and I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and full of character. The restaurant had a nice selection and the food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable. The paint in the room could use a bit of a refresh but that is my only, very slight, criticism. "
