"We stayed 11 nights at the gite. Great for exploring the area around Carcassonne, Albi, Narbonne, etc. Beautiful surroundings, extremely quiet (a must for me) with a nice pool and friendly horses who will occasionally visit you over the fence (carrots are appreciated). The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The nearest grocery store is about 20 mn away so you do need to plan a bit."

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Incredibly remote and rural location with the best located pool I've experienced! (light salt water too which was lovely) Very helpful and pleasant owners (Francoise & Giacomo) who also left us in private. We were looking for a few tranquil and relaxing days with access to coast/towns and mountains during the day - this surpassed our expectations! very ecological with solar power etc. Tip; take a swim or sit by the pool after dark, the sky at night is breathtaking - highly recommended."

"The house is beautiful and very much lives up to expectations. I do not know exactly how old it is, but every beam and wall whispers history. Extremely comfortable with all the things you could possibly want provided. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the locations is quiet, but accessible to shops, attractions and main roads. "I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...

"This gite has superb views from a south facing balcony which would be a sun trap in good weather (we were unfortunate and had two unusually wet days out of four!).
