"We booked and paid for 8 nights in advance but stayed for just 4 nights and found a better place in Grand World. Closer to the beach. The property managers were nice and helpful but not very generous with giving us a refund for the days we didn’t stay. We found the area poor in the choices of restaurants and stores. The restaurants only open after 11am in the mornings, surprising for a tourist oriented area. But that was consistent even in other areas of Phu Quoc. "

"Was really happy with this family run guest house that i stayed in for my last night in Phu Quoc before flying out. Incredibly helpful family members, room was impeccably clean (although towels and sheets although perfectly laundered, both had few wear-n-tear stains). "Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. Other places are easily accessible by getting a Grab. Parts of the hotel is still under construction so beware that noise can be an issue.
