"I truly thought that this hotel was on the beach side, not on the bay side. The 1st picture from hotel.com is of the beach with the blue canopies and lounge chairs. Nonetheless, thats on me for not reading and checking better. The room was spacious, we had a partial view of the beach side and the bathroom was nice as well. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly, letting us check in warly and getting more pillows to our room. There were a lot of perks too, like a 20% discount card for the bar/restaurant on the 10th floor. Admission for 2 to an inflatable attraction on Pier 60, and towels available if we wanted to go to the beach. You could walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Plus, we took the trolley and saw Clearwater Beach that way ($2.25/person or use the app). "
