Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. "The Hobbit House is just as unique and interesting as the photos show! Loaded with all the amenities for a comfortable stay with tv’s in every room, games galore and our favorite…. The outside fireplace and kitchen. We used it everyday and only cooked inside 1 morning. We went post Helene and grocery stores were opened and a lot of hiking trails were in the stages of clearing. We loved Grandfather Mountain park, it’s worth the entry fee. "

"We had a great day for a girls trip. The cabin was decorated very cute and was very convenient to downtown blowing rock everywhere that we need to be. The cabin was also very well equipped. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked very warm."

We loved the sunroom with the fireplace; I do wish it wasn't out of service but nonetheless it was still a nice space. The system sort of stopped and froze, but the property charged my credit card, so be aware. Vrbo doesn't know how to proceed without a reservation number, and referred me to the property host, who referred me back to Vrbo. This has been a vicious cycle so far."

It could do with some remodeling in the kitchen and throughout the apartment but was really not a big deal for us. The ladies working the office were very friendly and accommodating!
