"I chose here due to it being the perfect location and being the right price. I’m so pleased I did because the place and the team exceeded my expectations by a long way. Service, food, drinks all of the highest quality. Evening meal served in a really nice room, same as breakfast. The room I had was 205 and it was clean, comfy, spacious. I’m already thinking of reasons to return. Thank you "

"Booked at short notice, I phoned and explained I would be arriving on the 22:35 train. Walked around the corner and they welcomed me by name. And the breakfast - amazing!!!!!"

"It was an ideal place for my husband and I, and our 2 dogs after being in the area for an Off roading event. The food was lovely and the staff super helpful, including offering to make numerous other event guests a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early. Thank you to all the staff. "

"Had a lovely stay while away with work. The food was amazing and it is a beautiful building, with so much character. All the staff were very friendly and professional, especially Glen who runs the hotel excellently! Thank you for a great stay, I'll definitely see you again when I'm next up that way :-) "
