"Gorgeous area, saw Pronghorn Antelopes, wildflowers prairie dogs and amazing night skies. Isolated but safe close to Sand Dunes and the Sand DunesRecreation area, formerly known as the Hooper Pool. Also close to Zapata Falls, Alamosa, Splashland, Blanca Vista park and the most beautiful trails along the Rio Grande. Mt. Blanca was always present."

"Loved our stay! Wish we had another day to truly enjoy all components of the property. Only thing that seemed silly was charging a rental fee for the sand dune boards. If you go to the beach, the beach equipment just is a perk of the property. Would still rent here again!"
