"Most of the places we’ve stayed in around Boone have been great. The owners of the Badger’s Den had little touches though that made it more special. There were local pastries awaiting our arrival, the fridge was stocked with waters and sodas and the towels were the thickest, fluffiest I’ve ever used! Communication was clear and immediate and we appreciated our hosts being so helpful! "

"We had a lovely couples getaway. This place is the perfect hideaway and we loved using the fireplace. The little creek is a short walk from the house and we got the blessing of seeing a few inches of snow while we were here. It was beautiful. I would love to stay again in the future!"

"The house is unique. It’s my first time to stay in a cabin and I really enjoy the specialties. It’s located on the top of the hill. The trees around the house. I can hear the birds singing. The river is down the hill. I picked up a few rocks for collection. The two horses are very friendly. It was amazing experience I had in the place. I will highly recommend to spend your vacation there. "

"Great hotel. Very quiet but in very close proximity to App State. Attentive and friendly staff and cleanliness was impeccable. Rooms are oversized and comfortable. The only con was the pillows; not comfortable from my daughter's and my perspectives. But we would stay again, given all the positives!"

"The stay was amazing! The view was fantastic and the room was perfect size! The lodge had all of the amenities one could ask for! The on-site spa and restaurant were amazing, the pool and the hot tub were amazing. Only complain I would have were the pillows. My wife and I went for a couple day getaway from our kids. The bed and everything was amazing, the pillows were those long tube-like pillows. In order to sleep well, we had to double up the pillows. Other than that, the stay was fantastic."
