"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

"We had a wonderful hit stay here at this property. The buffet breakfast every morning was fantastic and really set us up for the day. The team also helped celebrate our son’s birthday which was very nice of them. Thank you to all the team that helped make our stay wonderful"

"This property was not what we expected but really grew to enjoy it. We’d had a few travel issues and had finally figured things out! The hotel is from the 1800’s and since the 1950’s it was bought and run by a family. Front desk staff was awesome, shout out to Alberto for being the jack of all trades! The rooms are enough room for two people, we didn’t realize there are super themes, ie mirrors on the ceilings! Not for the conservative or if you’re just friends. The breakfast buffet was good,...

"This whole region of Italy was incredible to us. Everyone was so nice and there was so much to do. Roberta and her family started with a tour of the property and then they connected us with a number of excellent things to do nearby including wine, beer, pizza, hikes and an adventure to remember for a lifetime. I hope one day to be back to this region. The children cooled off in the pool and lost to their parents in foosball multiple times. We saw Marmolada and Pedavena. We saw Grotta Azzurra...

"Loved the Hotel Continental location near the train station and town center, and all staff members were professional, helpful, and welcoming. The room was a bit smaller than I am used to, but the bed was comfortable and furnishings adequate, and I was especially rateful to be assigned a room with a bathtub, as requested upon check-in. The hotel's daily breakfast buffet was also excellent and a great way to start each day. The only 'adverse' comment I have is that furnishings were a bit "worn" and could use some updating (even painting wooden furniture pieces in bright unexpected 'Italian' colors would be a cheerful and inexpensive way to upgrade each room), and the lobby was in the process of restoration, so that area did not look good either. But no matter the property's somewhat "run down" appearance at present (I was told that the lobby would be impressive once restored!), it was clean and comfortable, and I would definitely book there again!"
