"We found all the staff we dealt with to be very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Room and beds were very good. The only thing that wasn't quite as good was the bathroom. Lovely new tiles but paintwork needed doing. Otherwise an enjoyable overnight stay."

"A ideal canal side pub/restaurant with cabin style accommodation. We had a double bed with ensuite shower room The bed was clean and comfortable, tv and wifi with good signal. Gardens with seating and play area with views over the Grand Union canal and moorings. No breakfast service but recommdation for a nearby cafe. Good value for money."

"Lovely pub with friendly staff. Room was delightful, although I wish I'd read the description better as didn't realise the bath meant no shower, also a bit of a climb if you want the kingsize bed. Bed was comfy and thankful for the bottles of water provided and great coffee bags. "Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day...
