"Villa Roccia is great. Beach just across the road was fabulous for late evening walks…but the pool and hot tub area was the star of the holiday. The village has a couple of grocery shops with a wonderful boulangerie too. Everyone was friendly, especially the host, Carine. Wonderful holiday. Long drive from uk but French roads and drivers are so much calmer than uk, so it was stress free from Calais."

"Who stayed: 2 families with young kids We had an amazing time in Sainte Gemme. The house is beautiful, clean and perfectly set up to welcome families. We really enjoyed the pool! We visited the zoo, La Rochelle and local vineyards while there. "

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine avec tout le confort de la maison. La plage de St Froult est à proximité de la maison idéal pour les châteaux de sable. Pour des vacances reposantes et en toute tranquillité cette maison est idéale. Les hôtes sont très agréables. "This is our second visit and we were not disappointed. Since our first visit there has been a new outside area with soft seating and an awning which was perfect for sitting in the shade. The villa is home from home and has all the amenities you would require for your holiday. We very much enjoyed our time there, cycling, swimming and visiting the Aquarium in La Rochelle as well as the Zoo near Royan. Rochefort is good for shopping and eating. Fouras has a good beach and restaurants. Thank you...

"Difficulté pour trouver l'habitation, retour de l'hôte plutôt incompréhensible sur le rendu de propreté sachant que nous avons constaté des problèmes de propreté en entrant (nourriture avariée, linges dans corbeille, assiettes à relaver, plat du four à nettoyer, tiroirs pas propres,..) et que nous étions content d'avoir respecter les lieux et effectué le ménage ( poussières, salle de bains, plaids, nappe) . Pas de désinfection prévue en cette période de COVID. Pas d'aide comme annoncée dans...

La maison et le terrain sont très grand, et c'est certain que cela demande beaucoup de temps et d'énergie pour effectuer un entretien correct. "Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."
