"TIP for the SKIERS: at the hotel reception you can get a much cheaper ski pass (approx. CHF 54-59 per day) than at the ski site or on the internet. Don't forget to ask for it!! If you book through a portal (like Hotels.com) the hotel might not give you this important information. Good location but not ski in/ski out (10-15 min. walk to the nearest ski site). Nice view. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. No kettle (no tea/coffee) available in the rooms. "

"We had a beautiful room with a large balcony with a view of the mountains. The staff in the hotel were charming and helpful. Breakfasts could be had in your room or the restaurant. There was yoghurt with homemade fruit compote, fruit salad, and delicious rolls and pastries."

"We first stayed here as the Bella Lui Hotel but it is now run by a youth hostel organisation. It has lost the charm of the private hotel and is now, because it is a hostel, more functional. The period furniture and ornaments have been replaced by standard facilities.
