"The main photo on hotel site is the building that hotel faces, not hotel itself. The hotel is more like bed and breakfast as it doesn’t have any common areas other than breakfast room. No entrance lobby at all. Not sure why it’s called a hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, very friendly staff, great breakfast. It’s in an excellent area, close to everything. "

"Decorated like an old school, this place had charm! They provided tea and coffee in the rooms and offered wine service for when you arrived for an extra charge. I also had difficulty getting a hold of a tour company I booked through and the hotel staff called them throughout the day until they got back to me. It was incredible and a huge stress reliever. "Great location. Easy to access from the Lyon train station. Staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet (but remember, rooms in Europe are smaller than hotel rooms in North America). I would definitely stay again."

"Hotel Charite worked well for us. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The double room was smaller than expected from the photos. Was tight for our luggage. The Bathroom lacks some features and amenities, but works fine. Location is right next to train station but you only hear trams on occasion (we stayed just Saturday night). "
