"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"On the downside the heating was a little hit and miss! Floors were very noisy and the blind cords very flimsy. The frontdoor was difficult to close from the outside. Some interesting features for younger people but older visitors would appreciate more comfortable armchairs. Having said all that we did enjoy our stay."

"The host has thought of everything! It is truly a home from home (but this place has far better decor than my home!) Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. "Ymke is a fantastic host. Communication 10/10 responding to messages in such a helpful and speedy way. They gave us some awesome recommendations too. The house itself is very spacious and unique in style. We felt like the vibe of the house almost gave you an immersive experience to Bath. The walls being the exposed cement blocks (like the Roman Bath's). You can tell time & thought was put into the house. We were a family of 5 & we had plenty of room and could all sit around the dinner table...

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"Loads of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the games room and hot tub. The nook in the garden is gorgeous and great for games night - watch out for the slippery decking though (when wet). It’s got everything you need and is great for pets. Would stay again."

"The apartment is extremely well located and is very comfortable and clean. The contactless check-in also works well. However, the apartment is situated above a Tesco store, so we were woken up on both mornings by lorries being emptied and stock taken into the store. There was also an issue at check-out, which, at 10:30, is already fairly early. However, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 10:05 and demanded that we leave the room as they needed to clean. We told them we had 25 minutes...
