"Our room was very clean and comfortable with ceiling fans and air conditioning and had been renovated recently. The owner was very welcoming and we felt very comfortable. The nearby pub/bistro he recommended was excellent. Only minor gripe was the patchy internet reception. We felt the owners were trying very hard to make our stay a pleasant one."

"This is a very comfortable hotel we stayed in room 7 The air-conditioning was wonderful our sleep was remarkable after 7 hours of driving. The bed was comfortable i connected the television to wifi was like been at home. The shower was hot & very refreshing. Has a table and chairs to sit and eat& jug microwave Older style ceiling fan when turned on to full throttle its like small Tornado in the room Next door is a service station, MacDonald's only klm down the road. The hotel looks like its been there since the 1950s is in remarkable condition. Obviously been renovated. I would definitely stay here again. I fail to understand why there would be any bad reviews. . Value for money "

"A beautiful hotel on the river offering DELICIOUS pub meals. The view was absolutely beautiful from our river front dining. Though the room was just that, small and a single room, it was perfect for our stop over. The bathrooms.... Now I expected small, dirty, dingey, water barely dripping shared bathrooms, but boy was I wrong! They were sparkling clean, the water pressure was PERFECT, just like a rain shower and the stalls were decently sized with plenty of room to get changed in a dry space afterwards. Can definitely say that if we are doing another trip, this will be on the list again! "
