"A fabulous place to stay whilst exploring the lakes. Lovely breakfast with glorious views. Leisure and gym small and needing a little bit of a refresh but a nice option to have. Views are stunning, food good and bar good but a little pricey, but given Windermere is about 20 minutes away and taxis are pricey, it seemed a sensible option to stay put. Overall a great place."

The location was ideal for visiting Bowness and ideal for catching the buses to visit other sites… The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again "
