"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. "Paulo, the owner, was very attentive and friendly and gave us wonderful service. We were late for check-in and Paulo greeted us after 11pm with a big smile. He gave us all the information we needed, including tips on Portuguese cuisine. The property consists of an old Portuguese house, from the 1800s. It is charming, clean, and has everything we needed for a good night's sleep."
