"We only stayed one night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable and quiet. A self-service laundry is available on the ground floor. We were surprised to find that the machines (one washer, one dryer) were controlled by a smartphone app. It actually worked quite well, notifying us when the load was done. "

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."
