Especially where to see bears which was the main reason we came to Vancouver Island. She was spot on, we saw bears almost every day! The cabin and setting were lovely, we would definitely come again. "Our family of four had a lovely stay at The Cabin. We enjoyed being a little bit off the beaten path, the peacefulness, and the private access to the Oyster River. The Cabin is well appointed and comfortable, and the outdoor shower and large lawn was enjoyed by our kids. Karen was easy to communicate with and we had no problems."

"The Beach House exceeded all expectations. The only problem with it was that I had to leave:) It’s set right on one of the most beautiful spots on the lagoon, the host Melissa is absolutely amazing and the decor, atmosphere even housewares are spectacular. To add to my delight, the property being so private was also fenced in so I had the door open for my dogs to enjoy the property as well. Hands down the most incredible place I have ever stayed at. Thank you!!"

"Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail."

The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. "What a gem! Gorgeous property in an awesome location. Have your morning coffee on the sun dappled deck or walk to the beach and watch the tide come in. A short walk to the General store and farmers market. Great kitchen, with a BBQ just outside the door. We loved roasting marshmallows on the gas fire pit in the garden, looking up at the stars. Thank you for the amazing holiday Susan! Can’t wait to book our next vacation!"

"We loved staying here. Samantha, the owner, is attentive and good communicator in a real and vulnerable way. The kitchen is amazing, all you’ll need to cook an awesome meal. "This place was sloppy. Cobwebs everywhere spills all over cupboards. The furniture smelled like body odour. The bed was uncomfortable. There was absolutely no condiments like salt and pepper and no drinking glasses. This place really needs a thorough cleaning and upgrade of furniture."
