Plan to make a trip to the market to pick up essentials, food, drinks, cooking spices, paper products, etc. Plenty of dishes, (wonderful), would have liked to have more towels. "An excellent place to stay prior to catching the Caen ferry. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "

"Lovely place to stay, right in the heart of town, very easy and safe parking. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was very good for the price we paid. Breakfast was very good. The dinner meal here was absolutely fabulous, and lovely service from the staff. The wine was priced very reasonable. In all this place was a delightful place to stay, and we had great walks around the area."

We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"
