"So cosy and welcoming. Just a 10 minutes walk from station with cases (at 10:30pm) felt very safe and lovely host. Beds were sooo comfy, we all slept like logs. "

"A lovely stay in a warm and welcoming hotel, which was conveniently situated in a quiet location, although close to the M6. We particularly enjoyed an excellent meal and a convivial bar The hotel manager and staff were all excellent"

"This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive."

"Lovely helpful couple."

"Pretty nice place with great hosts. It was a bit too hot in the room and the bathroom - the heater was full on and soooo hot, during this weather not too great but over all, good! Very nice full english for a breakfast. Nice place!"

"The toiletries, the hot chocolate sachets, the coffee bag sachets, all lovely additions. The quality of the food and the breakfast generally fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Intend to go back. Only down side, was tightness of parking - but at least this was available"

"We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "

"Lovely little cottage, close to Penrith, keswick and ullswater so plenty of options for things to do. The cottage is ideal for the two of us and the pooch, and is our second time staying there and most likely will be returning next year. We even saw a red squirrel which was very nice, though it was too fast for a photograph. The bed is comfy and the shower is amazing after a long walk. It's pretty much got everything you need. Another great stay at Erikas cottage. "
