"This beautiful property & it’s friendly, helpful owners were definitely a highlight of our Portugal trip - wish we could have stayed longer. Owners Andre and Tina gave us valuable information about how to navigate Sintra’s historical sites; everything from timing our trip to the Pena Palace to where to find free parking in Sintra. "The hotel and staff were very helpful. The area was quiet and convenient. There were guests in another part of the building that appeared to have a domestic argument and stomping around. The walls or floor may be a bit thing, we had no issues with this though - earplugs. I would definitely return. The pool area was relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast and coffee was nice, great staff!"

"Brilliant stay. Not too far from the airport if you have a car but feels like a million miles away from Lisbon, perfect if you want to get away from it all. Great base if you want to visit the beaches in the south/west. We really appreciated the breakfast. In the middle of the national park - we saw animals every morning. Hosts we first rage and couldn’t do enough for us."

"I booked purely for the pool but the setting of the place in its own valley surrounded by greenery is possibly one of the best spontaneous bookings I've made. For 3 days I only left the pool to eat it was that relaxing. Great staff too. "

"Booked the Dare Lisbon hotel for a six day break in the city and very impressed. The hotel is right in the heart of the city with trams, funiculars, metro and train station in very close proximity. The room is more like an apartment then a hotel room which gives your more space as well as a kitchen area. The bed is very comfy and plenty of clothes storage. The bathroom is open view so make sure you don’t have any privacy issues with whoever you’re sharing with. The breakfast is included and...

"The apartment very spacious and immaculately clean. Vera at reception was brilliant. I was not feeling well on arrival and she made be very comfortable with a blanket and lovely pot of tea in the family room as we waited to formally check in when our room was ready. She even came to see how I was faring the next afternoon. How kind and caring. We were both touched."
