"We always wanted to spend some time on the Coast when there was a chance of stormy weather. We were not disappointed on this trip. Our amazing house was situated just a few feet from a lovely large rock breakwater on Williams Bay just a short ten minute drive from the fishing town of Westport. We experienced practically every kind of weather imaginable from brilliant sunshine to strong winds filling the Bay with white caps. My Son and I surf fished for Ocean perch during low tide tide just steps...

What I will bring next time: Towels for my dogs My own towels and wash cloth but only because I’m fussy and don’t want to concern myself with messing provided ones . "This is a great place for a family getaway. There is an awesome playground for kids to play, a game room with kids toys, foosball, ping-pong, a speaker system, and TV. There are two gas grills and one charcoal that are covered so you can comfortably grill in the rain. There are a variety of different cabins all in the same area. "This place is definitely a rustic cabin. The property is very spacious and well kept. The beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet there. The fireplace is beautiful, but there was no hatchet to make kindling or fire starter. Once you get it going though, it’s very nice. The stairs to the loft are kind of steep, but we managed to get ourselves up and down ok ( we’re not spring chickens anymore 😊). "Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. He let us use it to jump the car and after about 30 min, we were able to get it started with the help of the first employee and two guests - a father and son. They were so very...

"Cute little cottage within a walk to the beach. Despite the age of the cottages they are clean, comfortable and in a great location. Beds are comfortable, plenty of soft towels and a full kitchen. During our stay we could see they were updating a different cottage & making improvements to the property. Quiet area & great place to relax. Will be back."

"Gonna point a few things out that would have made our stay at the Sportsman's cabin that may sound picky, but the following did detract from our stay in their totality. First impressions of the cabin is it is clean and nicely furnished. The leather couch with its recliner function was really comfortable. The cabin is right on the access road to the beach! Step outside and embrace the space, a haven designed to envelop travelers in serenity and luxury.

"Multiple safety hazards to include three missing smoke alarms, exposed electrical wire, extremely dirty heater, non-functioning kitchen and bathroom fans. Unit was still very dirty. Kitchen was grimy, floors were so dirty we had to wash our feet to get into bed, sink wouldn’t drain in the kitchen. Overall, would never book again and definitely put a damper on our holiday."

"We loved staying here. Tracy was an awesome host. She could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. The scenery is amazing and their pet rabbit, Smokey, is a real treat. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The house was clean, spacious and have everything you could want. The saloon out back is really cool. The only thing I wish is that we had more time to spend here."

Great stay

"We had an extremely comfortable four night stay at this hotel. The room was large with the king bed separated from the living area. The balcony was nice and though it was too cold for sitting out two chairs were provided in the closet. Our view was a partial one but pleasant. Free breakfast included if any interest. Pets are allowed on the first floor only which was great since my wife has allergies and we were on the 2nd floor. We really liked the hotel and accommodations and highly recommend. "
