"The property was very clean and the host had everything set out for a fun and relaxing weekend at the coast. Overall an excellent trip and accommodations and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the location to anyone interested. "

"It's a lovely space. Definitely tiny, but exactly as described. Kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you might need for cooking. Didn't love the bed but it wasn't a deal killer either. It is a firm foam mattress. Beach access is right there. We had fun playing the shuffleboard type game in the common room. The clam cleaning shed was also really great."

"The cabin and property exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect weekend getaway. The beds were the so comfy, the fireplace, the hot tub, the river…it was all lovely. Communication with the hosts was great, and the place was easy to find. Everyone in town my was really nice. I even saw an otter in the river. "

"The cottage overall was fine. Nice kitchen setup. Bathroom was okay but the shower was so small that my 6'2" husband was not able to fit. (Picture the movie Elf and when he outgrew the house.)The mattress was so firm that my husband woke with a sore back each morning. The TV never worked and even though there was internet service, phone service for us didn’t exist. I recommend getting cards or board games. "

"We enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for two adults. Nice kitchen. Rather old, but kept up nicely & clean. Did not have heat in every room, just one heating unit in the living room hall & a portable space heater. Had a hard time heating the whole place up. Beautiful location, just a short walk to the Ocean."

"Gonna point a few things out that would have made our stay at the Sportsman's cabin that may sound picky, but the following did detract from our stay in their totality. First impressions of the cabin is it is clean and nicely furnished. The leather couch with its recliner function was really comfortable. The cabin is right on the access road to the beach! "Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. "Don't let the outside of the place fool you. 4/2025 the outside of the building looks pretty rough, paint peeling, looks old. BUT, the room was awesome! Super clean and cute. Backdoor to a nice pool, hot tub, and grassy area. There was a deer hanging out with a group of ladies playing bocce ball, for real, it was super cool and fun to watch. I highly recommend this place. "

"Overall happy with our stay. Clean, easy check-in, responsive hosts. Location is good for the price point. Good space for a couples retreat. We had our dog with us and it was good for us. Would strongly NOT recommend if traveling with small children, however, due to the stairs having lots of big gaps for kids to fall through. Would have also been a problem if our dog was any smaller. "

Very nice hotel

"The location is very well kept.The room was very clean.The set up of the kitchen was very nice.We did not use it but if we needed to it had everything you need. The only downside is that there's so much over grown forge.That even the third floor can barely see the water."
