"Property on the lake was lovely. House was great. Only issue we experienced was that the upper bunks in the bunk house did not have rails. We had young adults using them so they were aware but that seems worrisome if children were expected to sleep there. Other than that I highly recommend the place: nice location, lake is lovely and the management team were helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!"

"This place is definitely a rustic cabin. The property is very spacious and well kept. The beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet there. The fireplace is beautiful, but there was no hatchet to make kindling or fire starter. Once you get it going though, it’s very nice. The stairs to the loft are kind of steep, but we managed to get ourselves up and down ok ( we’re not spring chickens anymore 😊). "We absolutely loved our stay here! Nice piece of property. Beautiful mountain views, very peaceful. It’s an hour away from Mount Rainier however this is where you want to be especially during the busy months when the cars are lined up to Ashford. We enjoyed the privacy, fires in the evening after a long hike and our kids loved going home to Carlos and the cute cows. We had deers and elk visiting one night also. The house is chic & nicely decorated, loved the kitchen! I would highly recommend!"

"Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. "The cabin was cozy and as advertised. The outdoor area including the sauna, hot tub and fireplaces were great! The only downside I saw was that checkin instructions could have been a little more descriptive and included a brief statement about driving past multiple no trespassing signs to get to the cabin.
